Cape Town: The Mother City
Day One to Three. Welcome & Rhythmic Foundations
After a warm welcome at Cape Town International, the group settles into the historic Vineyard Hotel. We begin with a series of intensive choral workshops led by South African masters, focusing on the unique 'vowel-shaping' and rhythmic foundations of Southern African vocal music.
Day Four. The Township Choral Experience
We travel to Langa and Khayelitsha for collaborative rehearsals with local community choirs. This is where the storytelling happens—singers exchange songs, sharing the history of spirituals and the role of music in the struggle for freedom.

Performance & Heritage
Day Five & Six. Major Public Concerts
The highlights of the journey: two major joint performances. One held in a grand city cathedral and another in a vibrant community hall. These concerts draw large local audiences and showcase the power of 50 visiting voices harmonizing with local South African ensembles.
Day Seven. Coastal Inspiration
A day of rest and reflection along the Cape Peninsula. We take the scenic drive to Cape Point and Boulder's Beach, allowing the natural beauty of the coastline to serve as a backdrop for a sunset rehearsal on the beach—singing into the Atlantic wind.
Farewells & Final Notes
Day Eight to Ten. Recording & Farewells
For those interested, we facilitate a half-day recording session in a local studio to capture the joint tracks from the tour. The journey concludes with a celebratory braai and a final 'circle song' before departing for home.
