Part One

Kigali: History, Vision & Art

Day One. Welcome in Kigali

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, your driver will transfer you to the Mövenpick Kigali. After freshening up, we head out to The Imizi Residency, the intimate home and bar of Rwanda's first Rum brand, for a tour welcome, briefing, cocktails, and tapas. All whilst enjoying Afro-beats and entrepreneurial zeal.

Day Two. City Origins & The Creative Scene

We start at the very top of Mt. Kigali for a topography lesson on the city’s origins. From there, we experience a vibrant walking tour with the Nyamirambo Women’s Center, culminating in a traditional home-cooked meal. In the afternoon, we visit the Campaign Against Genocide Museum and the Ingabo Art Museum to meet local creators.

Day Three. Peace & Reconciliation

A profound day spent with **CARSA** (Christian Action for Reconciliation & Social Assistance). We travel to Mahanga to meet survivors and ex-perpetrators, learning about Rwanda's unique, community-led journey of forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace-building through storytelling and dialogue.

Day Four. Royal Heritage & Eco-Parks

Explore the restored wetland ecosystem of Nyandungu Eco-Park, a testament to environmental restoration. We then travel south to Nyanza, the historical heart of the Kingdom, to visit the King’s Palace Museum and Kwigara Tour, learning about ancient Rwandan royalty and traditions.

Part Two

Forests, Canopies & Crystalline Lakes

Day Five. Nyungwe Forest Canopy

We move into the ancient high-altitude rainforest of **Nyungwe National Park**. Experience the true definition of adventure as we step onto the **Canopy Walkway**, suspended 60m above the lush forest floor. Evening storytelling takes place around the fire at our forest lodge.

Day Six. The Singing Fishermen of Lake Kivu

A very scenic 3.5-hour drive along Lake Kivu brings us to **Maravilla Eco Resort**. At sunset, we head out on the crystalline water to witness the **'Singing Fishermen'**—a unique rhythmic tradition where hundreds of lantern-lit boats create a floating city to the sound of ancient songs.

Day Seven. Nkombo Island Immersion

We depart Rusizi Jetty for a boat trip and full cultural excursion on **Nkombo Island**. This isolated community, located near the Congolese border, has its own unique dialect and traditions. Spend the day engaging with local residents and learning about island life.

Day Eight. From Crop to Cup

A visit to **Rushel Coffee Lodge** for a deep dive into Rwanda’s world-class Arabica coffee. You’ll witness the complete process, from the farm, through the washing station, and finally the roasting, discovering crop to cup what makes it some of the world’s best coffee.

Part Three

Volcanoes, Gorillas & Conservation

Day Nine. Conservation & Dian Fossey

We travel into the foothills of the Virunga Mountains. A special visit to the **Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund** allows us to learn about the incredible, life-long conservation work preserving the mountain gorillas and their misty habitat.

Day Ten. The Choice: Mountain Gorillas or Canoeing

Today offers a true choice. Opt for the life-changing **Mountain Gorilla Trek**, meeting these magnificent giants in their natural habitat. Alternatively, choose a serene, guided **Mukungwa River Canoe experience**, paddling through communities and birdlife. In the evening, we are joined by the **Gorilla Doctors** for a conservation talk.

Day Eleven. Meza Malonga Culinary Gateway

A final connection to the natural world with a scenic boat ride point on **Lake Burera**. From there, we experience a world-class, farm-to-table culinary experience with Chef Dieuveil Malonga at **Meza Malonga**, followed by farewell drinks at the iconic rooftop **Crystal Lounge**, overlooking the city.

Day Twelve. Departure and Textiles

Our final morning in Rwanda includes a stop at the vibrant **Kimironko Market** for textiles, crafts, and last-minute connection. Your driver will then transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your flight home.
